அறவாழி அந்தணன் 8

"அந்தணர் என்போர் அறவோர்" என்பது திருக்குறள். 

அறவழியில் வாழ்பவர் ‘அந்தணர்’ என்று திருக்குறள் கூடுகிறது. 

"ஆழி" என்ற சொல்லுக்கு கடல், சக்கரம், மோதிரம், சக்கரப்படை அல்லது அரசனின் ஆணைச் சக்கரம் போன்ற பல பொருள்கள் உள்ளன.

அவற்றை அறம் என்னும் சொல்லோடு பொருத்தி உருவகமாக நாம் பார்க்க வேண்டும். 

கடல்

இறைவன் அறக்கடலாக விளங்கி உலகை வளைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அந்தணன்.

அவன் அறம் என்னும் ஆணைச் சக்கரத்தைச் சுழற்றி உலகை ஆளும் அந்தணன்

இப்படி நாம் இறைவனை உணர்ந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். 

"பிறவாழி நீந்தல் அரிது" என்பதை, அறம் அல்லாத மறக் கடலை நீந்திக் கடக்க முடியாது என்றும், பிறவிக் கடலை நீந்திக் கடக்க முடியாது என்றும் நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். 

ஆட்சிச் சக்கரம்

அறநெறி தழைக்கச் செய்யும் அந்தணன் இறைவன். அவன் தாளை (நடத்தையை) பின்பற்றாத எவரும் மறத்தை வெல்ல முடியாது; பிறவி இல்லாமல் இருக்க முடியாது - என்பது  வள்ளுவர் வாக்கு. 

அறவாழி  அந்தணன் தாள் சேர்ந்தார்க்கு அல்லால் பிறவாழி நீந்தல் அரிது. 

The Thirukkural states that one who lives on the path of righteousness is an 'Anthanar'.

The word "azhi" has many meanings, such as sea, wheel, ring, chariot, or the king's wheel of command.

We should see them metaphorically, matching them with the word "virtue."

ocean

God is the ocean of grace, enveloping the world.

He is the one who rules the world by turning the wheel of virtue.

This is how we should realize God.

We must realize that "swimming across the ocean of rebirth is rare," meaning that we cannot swim across the ocean of non-virtue, nor can we swim across the ocean of rebirth.

Wheel of government

The Lord Antana is the one who makes morality flourish. Whoever does not follow his path (conduct) cannot overcome forgetfulness; cannot remain without rebirth - is the saying of Valluvar.
