He is the Man of the littoral land
where tree-Punnai blooms flowers with its pollen as the mirage in golden color.
Peoples wear the flowers to decorate. The rest of the flowers on tree will turn
into vegetable with oil seeds and hang on tree. He is coming to marry you mounting
on horse. The shrimp fishes will hide in the hook pits in the mud; his horse
gallops on water-field. The fallen petals from his garland are seen on sand
dune.
The friend-maid
says to her lady.
He is coming
to marry her.
Poet: Ulochanar
This is a poem of second century B.C.
