Cultural riding on horse made by Palmyra leaves is a pastime to remove the one-sided-love into reciprocal-love adopted by Tamils. A man riding on such a horse says:
It is a horse that will never eats; bell tied to ring while on moving; I am tied mounting on horse not to fall down; I am wearing garland made Erukku flower; I am ready to ride; the boys are in my side leaving my lover’s side. They know the culture making reciprocal love by their help. She will speak sweet words; look at me with her eyes like ‘Kayal’ fish. Leaving her the boys of her village joined with me. Thanks for the boys.
