Boys and girls will play Vandal game. At
the sun-set they return home. Hero, heroine, friend-maid and other play-mates played
Vandal game. The friend-maid says something to her lady, the heroine which will
apply to the man of the lady’s lover. She says:
We played all the day Vandal. It becomes
dark. We are to return to our thatched hut. There you will lay on bed without
sleep in love sick. Knowing this your father stops you going out. It is not
possible to you without coming and mingling others. Now she diverts her words
her lady only. “I shall not live without playing out”, you say. Then it is alright.
You alone stand here Sea-God. I shall return home as a mad girl leaving my ornaments
here as a gymnastic girl appears without ornaments. It is also not possible for
me because, you are my friend. (With these word hopes that he will get her lady
marring.)
