Agananuru 368

The men of the mountain wear chapels in their legs. The girls play swing while they are guarding millet field. The swing will suspend from the branch of Vengai tree near rocks. It appears like a peacock. He, the lover of the lady is the Man of such mountain.
The lady says; he played swimming with me in the mountain pond among the remote forest which even monkeys did not reach there. It happened so many days ago. From some days onward the peoples of my village are murmuring about my relation with him. Peoples of Kongu country will celebrate a festival called ‘Ulli’. In this festival they will dance tying bells on their waist. While they dance the bells will ring. As the bells ring during the dance the mouths of the peoples are speaking on our love relation. Why they are doing so, the lady asks her friend-maid.
