This is pleasant summer, not for me;
it is pleasant for the girl who has her lover enjoying her.
Flower Kongan is about to gather to
wear.
Cuckoo is calling its mate.
The bull that grass Arugu-grass in
Cauvery River after the flood drought; the flood runs so deep that the pole
stick could not erect in river-bed to move the boat; drinks the water; rest
under the shadow of Kanji-tree; the pollen of the tree having fallen on bull’s
back; the bull appears golden color; and moves to rest on sand-dune of the
river.
All are happy in summer; but I am not,
because my lover is far away from me.
