Agananuru 294

It is winter. He is in war-camp. I am fighting against the northern chill-wind. The lady says to her friend-maid.
After the heavy rain-fall the winter is attacking me. Snow drops are resting in flowers. Flower Karuvilai appears as the eye with tears of a loving girl waiting for her man. Inkai flower appears with its cotton-like head with snow-drops. Indian beans are blooming. Paddy harvests bend their heads. All are bearing snow-drops. It is midnight in winter. He is in war-camp of the ferocious king. He is mercy-less. I am suffering by the attack of northern chill-wind.
