The friend-maid farewells her lady
along with her lover during clandestine period with these hailing words.
I am applying my hands on your hair and
shoulders, because, I am unable to spare you. But you are in eloping mood.
An old deer escapes from its termed
ladies who feel for the loss; and play gently the music instrument,
Kudukuduppai to call the deer back; the sound of which affects the passers-by. I
am worrying you sending by this kind of route.
It was rained. The trees are budding. Velvet
mutes are spread moving on budding grass. Enjoy them in your pleasant elopement.
