Agananuru 261

She eloped with him. How he treated her during the elopement, he explains to the friend-maid of the lady after sometime.
I make a flower garland with two kinds of flowers wild-Patiri dark in color and Atiral-flower bright in color; and put the garland on her hair of Aimbal-braid. I insert a bunch of Maram-flower in the braid.
Then I request her to walk a little distance with the music of her anklets and bangles so as to enjoy her beauty. But, she didn’t walk; and stood bending her head in shy.
Then we walked together letting her to walk in front of me tasting her.
We rest in small village. There we hear tiger roar winning the elephant-fall from one-side; and Tudi-drum music played by the natives after drinking.
That is the way, we enjoyed the eloping trip.
