Agananuru 259

The friend-maid appeals her lady to go along with the Man of her lady’s lover with these words:
You please see the followers of your Man roaming with their spears. There are garlands and leaves-dress ready for you. The heat of the land by sun is diminished by rain. Withered trees are budding in leaves. The route is fine to travel. Winter has gone; and spring appears. The moon is shinning with its milky light. A call has come from him.
Do not hesitate to move.
You, my Heart please start.
Don’t worry about the coins you used to play Tetri-game, the withering Vayalay-creeper you grow and the flowers in Nochi-plant under which you enjoyed love affairs. Your mother will tolerate her tears when she happens to see them. Your father and brother also tolerate your parting with their prestige.
I hug your breast once again in love. Please go with your Man to marry you in his house.
