The friend-maid consoles her lady with
these words:
My complexion becomes fade even my
mother doesn’t like me.
The people of Kongar race attacked
Madurai, the capital of King Pasumpun Pandian who has already won in many
battles. The king defeated race to retreat back. The people of Madurai
celebrate the victory with pomp and glory. As they celebrated, the people in my
village are murmuring about my clandestine love.
It seems that I can survive only for
few more days.
Saying these words, my lady, do not
weep.
King Erumai ruled over the kingdom
where the river AyiriAru flows. He is the Chieftain of people Vaduga race. He is
a brave man. He used to steal the cattle plowing oxen and milking cows. He will
fight against the owner of the cattle or used the calling-signal-voice to get
the cattle. Even though your Man went beyond the river of the king, he will not
forget you.
Your vast breast like coconut, folded
hip, long hair, face like moon, adorning-dot in forehead and your glace, he
will never forget.
He will return early. Don’t weep.
