The friend-maid and her lady are conversing.
The lady says you, my friend, look at
the people; if my Man goes for earning in a distant place during clandestine
period, is it necessary for the people murmuring about me?
King Musundai is philanthropist. He offered
gifts to the music artists in Kinai-drum play in front of his place. He offers
chariots loaded with food-grains and elephants decorated with golden cover on
its tusk. Village Vembi is his capital. I was as beautiful as his village. Now
the beauty is gone for want of his presence along with me.
People Malavar race used to wear
peacock feathers. They will eat meat of young bull. The field at which they
killed the bull will smell badly. There will be scarce shadow at which he has
to stay.
There he will hear tiger voice in
searching prey. The deer will flow away on hearing the voice.
He will be passing through such dreadful
forest.
Without considering these things the
peoples are murmuring. Is it necessary?
