Annotative translation

1. There is no better acquisition other than having son or daughter with intelligence.  61
2. If one has son or daughter with sin-less character, he will not be attacked by evil in his birth and rebirth, so called seven-folds. 62 
3. One receives wealth having his boy or girl. They receive wealth by their own character.  63
4. The food touched by the little hands of his son or daughter is the sweetest one more than the Ambrosia, the so called death-less jam. 64
5. It is physical pleasure to parents touching their child; and sweet to hear words from their voice.  65
6. The music arises from the instruments lute and ‘Yazh’-string falls behind the babbling or battling of one’s own child. 66
7. The duty of the father is make his son to lead the people in peace. 67
8. The wisdom of the children more than their parents is worth to world-wide. 68
9. The mother will be happy more than the time in which she delivered his son, when she hears ‘he is a gentle-man’. 69
10. The duty of the son is to behave to be appreciated with words ‘what his father has done to have good son like him’. 70

2. எழுபிறப்பும் தீயவை தீண்டா பழி பிறங்காப் \ பண்புடை மக்கட் பெறின்.    62
3. தம்பொருள் என்பதம் மக்கள் அவர்பொருள் \ தம்தம் வினையான் வரும்.   63
4. அமிழ்தினும் ஆற்ற இனிதே தம் மக்கள் \ சிறுகை அளாவிய கூழ்.   64
5. மக்கள் மெய்தீண்டல் உடற்கின்பம் மற்று அவர் \ சொற்கேட்டல் இன்பம் செவிக்கு.    65
