She hugs him
This is a poem with similes of historical events.
Be happy, my mind. She has hugged you know. Be brimmed with joy as the vessel filled with needed wealth those approached the King Mandaran Poraiyan Kadungo for gifts. The king is famous in his gifts and victory. He will always appear among the praising peoples who are benefited by him.
King Nannan is a good in his rule and has an elephant symbol. With a statue of his elephant there was a Ghost Godess temple in his capital Pali. The captain of the king Mingili by name took oath to sacrifice the king Athigan’s head th the God.
King Athigan cherished birds. He is famous by his birds-firm. Mingili cut the head of Athigan before the Ghost Godess as he vowed. Then he danced in the temple. This news was spread and known by all people at that time. The heroine afraid of spreading news of her clandestine love, hugged the hero openly as he is her would be husband.
She approached him slow steps. Her bangles are crystal in color. Her curling hair resembles like sand-flow in river-bed. She came with her glittering jewels. She came in the dead-night when even the fishes sleep. She appeared as an artificial statue of beauty walking. She has garland in her neck. She hugged me so as I have some impression of her bangles in my back. Then what else I need? Be happy, my mind, the hero says to his mind.
