her. The lady reveals her feelings to her friend-maid. “His chariot came in
daytime. The peoples are murmuring. My mother looks at me. I can’t move outside
to gather flower Mundagam. He wouldn’t return without getting my bliss. What shall
I do?
There is a place where he and I met
before. Flowers Kandal drops spreading on the sand dune. It appears like dots
on the breast of a girl playing doll-game there. Today the chariot is waiting
there for me. What shall I do?
