Agananuru 100

You give me bliss in daytime and leave in the evening. I enjoy it very much. But the village is murmuring about our relation. I couldn’t bear it. What shall I do? By these words she hints to marry.
You are applying Sandal past on your breast. To allure me you are wearing flower garland there. You come in daytime and hug me to have impression on our chest.
The fishermen will go on boats with lamp at sea to fish when the waves are calm by eastern clouds moving. In the war camp of a king, war elephants with their metal face coverings move standing at night. The lamps of the fishermen shine at sea as the metal face-ornaments of the elephant shine.
Periyan is a king and Purandai is his capital. It is a sea-shore village being a bird sanctuary of new birds. The king used to stop the poets passing through and endow gifts of horses and chariots. As the birds and poets make sound in the village, thd people living in my village are murmuring about our secret love relation.
The buffaloes of the village rise early morning and feed water-lily flowers in pond. As they are feeding, the peoples are chewing words of murmuring. What can I do except suffering? Please get me married.
