THE GHOST TOWN

OF DANUSHKOTI

They are murmuring about our clandestine relation now; what they shall do after we have married, she asked to her maid.
The fisherman has got a lot of fish in his hunt in sea sailing on boat. His village falls on smelling fish. He praises and prays his net that yields a lot. He shares all of his fish-yields to the village. – He is a man of such a littoral land.
He has love-relation with us. The women of this village are now murmuring about our relation. What shall they do after marriage? They will dumb their mouth as the people done in historical event of a story. Once, Lord Rama prayed reciting Vedas under a Banyan tree with areal-roots in DanushKotti after his victory (over Sri Lanka). While he was reciting, all others heard without noise. In such a way the women of my village will not speak anything.
DanushKotti, was a sea-shore village under the control of the rulers ‘Kavuriar at that time. It was the park with trees Njalal and Punnai. It was also known as ‘KanalAmPerunTurai. The girls of the village will gather the bunch of flowers with leaves and make leave-dress to wear in festive days.
