Love poem Kurunthogai # 296

Not to blame him when he comes to get me, the lady requests her maid. (Because the time he with us is short, than the time he is away). He is a Man of the littoral land where bird NA:RAI (crane) [image] perking on the branch of tree PUNNAI likes to change its pray to eat paddy in the field wherein water lily blossoms, when its fish-pray becomes boredom.
Author of the poem is PERUM-BA:KKAN
2nd century B.C.
