He commands the nature to favor his lover.  

“You (chill) North Wind! Do not blow on her (my lover) residence. (Please note). There is a water fall near the village. In the village you can identify her house thatched by grass (image) and its courtyard in which deer is eating fruit NELLI”.

235. பாலை

ஓம்புமதி; வாழியோ வாடை! பாம்பின்

தூங்கு தோல் கடுக்கும் தூ வெள் அருவிக்

கல் உயர் நண்ணியதுவே நெல்லி

மரையினம் ஆரும் முன்றில்

புல் வேய் குரம்பை (படம்) நல்லோள் ஊரே.

வரையாது பிரிந்து வருவான் வாடைக்கு உரைப்பானாய்ப் பாகற்கு உரைத்தது.

மாயேண்டன் பாடல்

வாடைக்காற்றே! நீ என்னவள் இருக்குமிடத்தில் வீசாதே. (அவள் இருக்குமிடம் இதுதான்) பாம்பு உரித்த தோல் போல தூய வெள்ளை அருவி அங்கே இருக்கும். அங்குள்ள ஊரில் புல் வேய்ந்த அவள் குடிசை முற்றத்தில் மரைமான்கள் நெல்லிக் காயை மேய்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கும்.
