As a deer falls in the net spread to fish (image), others are interfering.

She alleges to her friend-maid.

171. மருதம்

காண் இனி வாழி தோழி யாணர்க்

கடும்புனல் அடைகரை நெடுங் கயத்து இட்ட

மீன் வலை (படம்) மாப் பட்டாஅங்கு,

இது மற்று எவனோ, நொதுமலர் தலையே?

வரைவிடை ''ஆற்றாள்'' எனக் கவன்ற தோழிக்குத் தலைமகள் கூறியது. பூங்கணுத்திரையார் பாடல்

தோழி! இங்கே பார் வேடிக்கையை. ஆற்றோரம் இருக்கும் குளத்தில் மீன் பிடிக்கப் போட்ட வலையில் மான் சிக்குவது போல நம் திருமணத்தில் மற்றவர்கள் தலையிடுகிறார்கள்.
