He sends a musician (image) as a mediator to his wife after finishing his enjoyment with a concubine. While he is in concubine’s residence, one of his musician-mediator said his wife an untruth (that he is not in concubine’s house). After that his wife doubts all the musician-mediators will say lies.

It is as that of a KENDAI fish saving from a catch of a crane bird doubts a lotus bud is also a crane bird.

127. மருதம்

குருகு கொளக் குளித்த கெண்டை அயலது

உரு கெழு தாமரை வால் முகை வெரூஉம்

கழனி அம் படப்பை காஞ்சி ஊர!

ஒரு நின் பாணன்  பொய்யன் ஆக,

உள்ள பாணர் எல்லாம்

கள்வர் போல்வர், நீ அகன்றிசினோர்க்கே.

பாணன் வாயிலாகப் புக்கவழித் தலைமகற்குத் தோழி சொல்லியது

குருகு கொத்தும்போது தப்பி ஓடிய கெண்டை மீன் அங்கே இருந்த தாமரை மொட்டைப் பார்த்து இதுவும் குருகோ என எண்ணி நடுங்கியதாம். 

இத்தகைய ஊரை உடையவன் அவள் கணவன். 

அதுபோல 

அவளது கணவன் பரத்தை வீட்டில் இருந்துகொண்டு 

தூது அனுப்பிய பாணன் ஒருவன் 

(கணவர் பரத்தை வீட்டுக்குச் செல்லவில்லை என்று) 

பொய் கூற, 

(கணவர் வருகிறார் என்று உண்மை கூறும்) 

பாணன் சொல்லையும் நம்ப முடியவில்லை.
