Purananuru # 039

This is the Hanging Garden in Babylon.
Such a hanging-garden in India
was destroyed by thuungeyil-erintha-thodi-thool-sembiyan,
an ancestral king of Soozan KilliValavan,
who died at Kulamutram village.

  • I could not say your benevolence is good, because you are the descendant of the king who offered life in weighing pendulum to save birds dove and its attacker kite to have prey.
  • I could not say your victory is good, because you are the descendant of the king who destroyed a hanging fort.
  • I could not say your justice is good, because your capital Uraiuur had always been ruled over in justice.
King Valava! You won seven attacks being a Horse-Warrior.

  • How can I sing your bravery that you made the capital Vanji trembling ruled by the king Vaanavan who curved his bow emblem on the rock of Himalayas?
