Agananuru 144

She is wearing Mullai flowers to adorn
her hair.
The ladies whose husband is away
will not wear flowers to decorate them
He is in war camp. He feels elated in his mind pondering wife.
He didn’t return home as he assured me. My eyes are shedding tears. Flowers Mullai are blossoming everywhere. My hair is empty without the flowers. She will be discussing this matter with her friend-maid in distress. Let him be mercy-less. That is no matter. He behaves virtue-less. That is very bad.
Even though she speaks in this way she will feel elated in her mind as she get hugging chest wearing garland while hearing my victorious war field. That is her character makes me feel elated, the hero said to his mind.
Here the war elephants echo against thundering. The flood stagnated in the bits made by the steps of deer is glittering as the stars twinkling in the sky. This is my wealth of victory. While hearing this wealth earned by me she will be glad in her mind, her husband hero says.
