He danced with girls |
Salt-farmers, the Umanar cultivate salt
dumping in notch in salt field. They carry the salt to sell in villages at mountain
valleys. They leave the broken parts of their cart used to carry salt. The white
crane birds lay their eggs under the broken part they left. He is the Man of
such land. Once he danced along with us. He makes leaves-dress and garlands gathering
water-lilies. He has mercy in his eyes. The girls dance with drum-beat during
festivals. He played along with them when I participated in the dance program. Then
onward the people are murmuring about our clandestine relation. What I can do,
the lady confesses.
