- A feast with oil-cake made of grained black-gram was served to hosts.
- Ceremonial pillar was erected to build thatched shed.
- Fresh sand was spread under the wedding shed.
- Lamps are lighted to remove the darkness.
- The shed was decorated with flower garlands.
- It is early morning in a full-moon day.
- Woman with pots filled in full of water proceed before the bride and women with new pot each fallowed the bride.
- They are hailing the bride with slogans.
- Four women perform wedding ceremony.
- They are mothers and wives wearing ‘Tali’, a symbol of married, having their husband alive.
- They split some water on the dressed head of the bride along with some flowers and some corns of paddy.
- They hailed the bride with blessing words.
- The bride will lead her life in chastity with her husband alone in love matters;
- deliver good children useful to the world
- and loyal to the family of parents.
- After this wedding is over, some women get the bride into a room where
- I (hero) was waiting for her.
- They pushed her into the room.
- She appeared veiling her face with new wedding dress and sit in a corner.
- I hugged at her side.
- In anxiety I opened her veil.
- I like to hear her acceptance by words.
- “Hello, please reveal your thoughts openly”, I asked her.
- She replied the smiling.
- Again I impress her.
- Her ear-rings nodded.
- She stared at me earnestly and fell on my feet.
- She looks like a female deer with a glimpse of pride in her beauty.
- She appears like a tender leaf of mango in body and decorated hair-style.
- What else then, i need?
