Natrinai 67

fishing at night

The friend-maid of the lady hints the man (hero) that there is no harm to stay at night in her village. She explains the amicable situation. Sun sets behind the mountain. Seashore is calm without people. Crane-bird is resting on the branch of Punnai-tree. Sharks are moving in lagoons. My father and brother went to fish at night with lamp on boat. Utilize the chance to stay in our village.

Poet: PeriSattanar
This is a poem of second century B.C.
