Love poem Kurunthogai # 358

She is tallying
the days of
his departure

and return
Not to cry falling. Don’t be mad looking at him on the way. Don’t count the line drawn to enumerate the days of his interval on the wall touching by. The day he assured to return is at your nearest expectation. This is the evening that smiles as that of the head garland of cowherd made of flower ‘mullai’.
