Love poem Kurunthogai # 293

He returns home from concubine’s house. His wife denies him enter saying these words.
She (concubine) disturbs her life appearing before him dressing water lily on her waist so as to appear her thigh.
Her behavior is like Palmyra tree that endows toddy first and then tender NUNGU [image] in the old village belongs to the king A:THI ARUMAN.

This is a poem compiled by A:ttiraiyan of Kallil village
2nd century B.C.
