Purananuru # 034

To cut the milking part of a cow (to use the cow to plow the field), abortion and beating Brahmin are great sins. The doer of these sins can rectify by doing some adornment.
Tirukkural, a work on Goodness points out that there is no adornment for whom forgotten the received benevolence.
You have offered me (an artist Paanan) a comfortable life to eat and enjoy the cooked recipes such as rice of yellow millet boiled in milk, honey and rabbit meat. We ate together along with your comfortable words.
So the day will not pass on to me if I do not sing on you.
If there is any favorable result on good deed, I pray, you must live long more than the number of water dews in rain by north-west monsoon.

Poem by: Aalatthuur Kizaar
Poem to: Soozan KilliValavan, who died at Kulamutram village.
Message: praising the benevolence of the king
