| wealth of bravery wealth of kindness |
He bedazzles himself with his wealth to
attract concubines. The friend-maid of his wife teaches him lesson.
You, the man of the village where the
farmers goes to seed paddy in field plowed again after reaping the harvest, and
return back to home with various hinds of fishes filling their vessel which was
carried seeds of paddy to the field.
To speak elating oneself or going in a
chariot is not ‘Wealth’. ‘Fearing for leaving others to suffer’ is the real ‘Wealth’
according to the Man of Grate.
So do not go to concubine’s house
leaving your wife to suffer.
Poet: MilaiKilan NalVettanar
This is a poem of second century B.C.
