Purananuru 233

When the king died the poet expresses his meloncaly.
It was widespread that the King Ahutai was in death-bed wounded in war by a wheel-weapon throw by the opponent. He has recovered from his wound and become alive. The poet prays and expects, as happening on the part of Ahutai, the widespread news that his king Evvi is suffering from war-wound is folly.
He says his king Evvi had a royal relative of musicians of ‘Periyal’ (having 21 stings)
The king also have victorious anklet in his leg.
