Purananuru 230

the king guarded the cattle from attacking wild animals
You the God of death! You have done a mistake by killing the King Ezini. He ruled his kingdom so safe that the pet animals of sheep and cows can stay with their calves in the forest without the fear of attacks by the wild animals. He did this by his sword fight that was spoken elaborately by the world. You took the life of such a great man, who feeds you with life-foods in his war-field. Your deed is ridicule as a farmer cooks and eats the seeds instead of cultivating.

Poem by: Poet Arisil Kizar
Poem on: King Ezini who fought for capturing Tagadur capital of King Atiyaman and died
Context: the attacker died, a song on meloncaly
